This magazine-format collection includes eight stories and a poem including the Hugo, Nebula, and World Fantasy Award nominated title story, the Hugo and Nebula nominee "Hong's Bluff, the original U.S. appearance of Wu's first professionally published story, "By the Flicker of the One-Eyed Flame," (first published only in Britain) and the quirky, sardonic homage to '60's death-rock songs, "Dead White Women." The stories represent science fiction, contemporary fantasy, and horror. Introduction by the author and afterwords to each story are also included. Cover by George Barr.
